The date is July 26, 2008. Time for my mid-year report. Guess what, I graduated!! Started work already. Finally I am able to venture out on my own. After 10 long years, so much things have changed. My eldest brother is married and has a daughter, my second bro's probably going to get married when he returns from the US next year, and my parents are probably going to retire soon.
Just had a thought which is not meant to offend anyone. Realised that in this world, or rather in this place, many people work as a means of survival. To top it up, many enter the so-called lucrative financial industry because they are just interested in the valuable commodity; money. We all hope to strike it rich because wealth is associated with better living and reputation. Seriously, most of us are engulfed in this rat- chasing world that we have forgotten what it means to be human. Guess you know what I am driving at. Oh well, guess that there is no way this notion is going to change anytime soon. This is a result of shifts in the world ever since industrialization took place.
Alright, going to end off now and enjoy my Saturday afternoon. Hope my next entry will be an interesting one. Hehe..
